Shopback Go, a way to help offline businesses like restaurants and physical retail stores connect and engage with a large customer base smartly. To facilitate more productive follow-up discussions with their prospects, Shopback Go was looking for an explainer video that would provide sufficient information for other stakeholders not present in the first meeting. The goal was for these stakeholders to have a basic understanding of how Shopback Go can help them, so that Shopback Go Business Development managers can spend time on higher-value work like proposing customised customer acquisition and retention efforts for their clients.
With competitors making their moves in the market fast & furious, it was crucial for us to identify and exploit Shopback Go’s USPs clearly in the video, in order to capture our key market of F&B, retail, and services.
While their vision was clear in the script they first drafted, we noted that the writing style was more suitable for articles than voiceover narration. This is where we come in. With their vision in mind, we aligned on a more effective writing style and gave our inputs on how to better streamline the content to make it more impactful.
While we love dynamically creative visuals, we invest equal interest in our client’s business objectives. Having understood from the business development team their struggles with communicating with bigger clients, we incorporated certain visuals that would speak louder to them, enabling this video to act as the bridge upon which Shopback Go and bigger clients can form partnerships.
It eased the job of explaining for the business development team, helping to streamline the sales process. They had also received positive feedback from new clients on how the video played an important role in persuading their management.
